Melinda Krasowski, spends her days teaching yoga to all ages and abilities and serving her family and community in Summit County.  Her Kundalini Yoga classes are a dynamic blend of warm ups, Kriyas, mantras, and meditations.  Inspired by Yogi Bhajan’s words, “Be the Lighthouse,”  Melinda’s intention is to help students find that spark to ignite a daily spiritual practice.

For the students in Copper Mountain, Melinda offers a spontaneous Vinyasa Flow class based on the students’ needs. Classes begin with intention and a focus on the breathe.  Supine, seated, standing and inverted postures are introduced mindfully to give students a safe and gentle asana practice.

When she’s not practicing and teaching yoga, Melinda enjoys tele-skiing, snowboarding, climbing, hiking and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Melinda received her first certification in 2011 under the guidance of Cooke Fisher at the Colorado Mountain College, in Breckenridge, CO. She received her Level 1 KYTA certification in Crestone, CO, with Karta Purkh Kaur in 2015.

Yoga Flow

Raise your vibration through breath and movement. Balance energy and flow. Prana means life-force energy. Vinyasa is the continuation and connection of movement with breath. All teachers move the class articulating through the postures, pausing and perfecting the intention and the breath. All classes are inspiring, strength building, meditative and soothing. Postures may be held for several breaths and modified to facilitate personal growth and transformation.

Kundalini Yoga

A Kundalini class begins with a short chant followed by a warm-up to stretch the spine and improve flexibility. These classes are based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, include gentle poses (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama), Kundalini Kriyas, Mantra Meditation, and more.
